DTFAWN-15-R-00016 SOLICITATION for Structural Architectural and Engineering Design Support associated with the Localizer Platform at Lihue Airport (LIH) at Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii The proposed work for this project includes the following: I. Statement of work: Work includes providing Structural and Civil A&E design support to construct a platform for a Localizer Antenna Array at the Lihue Airport in Lihue, Hawaii. Deliverables will include a full set of design, specifications, and cost estimate necessary for the construction of a 15’ x 60’ concrete platform to accommodate an FAA 8 element Localizer Antenna (height varies). The A&E firm’s drawings and specifications will be used by the FAA to acquire a Fabricator/Construction Contractor to perform the construction of the facility. The A&E firm will furnish all labor, materials, supplies, testing, supporting engineering studies, surveying, and other work required to accomplish the design. This is a Full and Open Competition and will be Best Value Determination based on an evaluation of Qualification, Experience, and Past Performance weighted more highly than Price.
