SUBMITTAL OF SEALED BIDS: Notice is hereby given that the City of Covington will receive sealed bids through February 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at City Hall at 16720 SE 271st St., Suite 100, Covington, Washington 98042. Proposals received after said date and time will not be considered. All timely bids will be opened and read publicly aloud over video conferencing on a Zoom conference call. The city will provide the link to the public bid opening at https://www.covingtonwa.gov/rfp.php. Opening and reading of the bids will occur at 10:05 a.m. on February 16, 2022. This project shall consist of: furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of the SR 516 – Jenkins Creek to 185th Place SE Project. Specific work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of a 4-lane bridge, ITS improvements, roadway lighting, roadway grading, stormwater drainage, islands, curb and gutter, pedestrian facilities, ADA curb ramps, walls, channelization, signing, stream improvements, utilities, landscaping, and other work as shown in the Plans.
