ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS OSWEGO PUMP STATION ELECTRICAL UPGRADES FOX METRO WATER RECLAMATION DISTRICT Sealed Bids for the "Oswego Pump Station Electrical Upgrades" will be received by the Fox Metro Water Reclamation District on the 17th day of June, 2020, up to the hour of 10:00 o'clock A.M. Prevailing Time at the District's office located at 682 Rt. 31, Oswego, IL 60543 and will be publicly opened and read aloud at that time. The project consists of all work for construction of the following: 1. The removal of the existing motor control center (MCC) and installation of new MCC including soft starters for existing pumps. 2. New lighting panel and transformer installed exterior to new MCC. 3. New cable feeds from existing pumps and other equipment to new MCC and new lighting panel. 4. Installation of new conduits and use of some existing conduits. 5. Installation of new ductbank and exterior junction boxes. Copies of Instructions for Bidders, Bid Form, Plans, and Specifications will be available for download in digital format (PDF) beginning May 22, 2020 from the BHFX Plan Room website at www.bhfxplanroom.com. Bidders may also request printed sets of Contract Documents from the office of BHFX, 30W250 Butterfield Road, Warrenville, IL 60555 (telephone: 630-393-0777). Bidders shall be responsible for all downloading, printing and shipping/mailing costs for all sets of Contract Documents obtained from BHFX. A plan holders list will also be maintained by BHFX and will be available for viewing on its website at www.bhfxplanroom.com. All Bids shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions for Bidders and shall be accompanied by a Bid guarantee consisting of a bank cashier's check, bank draft, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total Bid as provided for under terms of said Instructions for Bidders and Specifications. Fox Metro Water Reclamation District reserves the right to reject all Bids, to waive or not to waive any information therein, or to accept the proposal which is considered to be in the best interest of the Fox Metro Water Reclamation District.
