Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award a sole source delivery order (DO) under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-16-G-0021 to BAE Systems Information and Electronic Systems Integration, Hudson, NH, to procure non-recurring effort and equipment necessary to increase production capability up to 25,000 units for the Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System (APKWS) program.

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302.  BAE Systems is the sole designer, developer, and manufacturer of the APKWS, and as such, is the only known source available with the requisite technical knowledge, experience and tooling to produce the requirements described herein, in order to satisfy the Government's requirement. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for the supplies anticipated needed herein is 336414.
