The Adopt-the-River Program was created by resolution 2001-67 and adopted October 10, 2001 by the governing body to create an Adopt-the-River program by engaging business community, youth, and other citizens of Santa Fe in restoring the river. All actions taken under the Adopt-the River program shall be consistent with the guidance of the City of Santa Fe River Corridor Master Plan, Storm water Management Strategic Plan, and all applicable state and local ordinances, regulations and statutes.
