The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to negotiate on an other than full and open competition for additional imaging equipment with Protein Simple, 3040 Oakmead Village Drive, Santa Clara, CA 95051 and they do not have any authorized third party resellers. This equipment includes Wes System and associated installation and maintenance service. All responsible sources who are certified by Protein Simple as authorized third party resellers may submit a proposal. The vendors shall provide certification from OEM that they are authorized reseller provider for this equipment. All responsible sources may submit a response that will be considered. This will be a firm fixed price contract in accordance with the statutory authority for this sole source requirement 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one source available, no substitutions possible. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
