NOTICE TYPE: Synopsis Admendment for Add-On NIINS SPE4A220R0007

TITLE: Multiple National Stock Numbers Supporting the TF33 Engine for
Addition to Long-Term Contract Sole Source to Pratt & Whitney

Purpose: This agency proposes to issue an amendment 3 to solicitation
SPE4A220R0007 to add the attached list of additional 32 DLR national stock
numbers (NSNs) and 77 Consumable items to sole source contract, SPE4AX-16-D-9436, to United
Technologies Corporation, Pratt & Whitney (Pratt), Contractor and
Government Entity (CAGE) codes 52661 and 77445 in accordance with the
originally approved Justification and Approval (J&A). However, the NSNs
identified here were not included in previous synopses for this effort. The
LTC has fou 3 years remaining. The contract requires supply of parts as well
as other functions, including but not limited to, inventory management,
forecasting, distribution, storage, reliability improvements, engineering
maintenance and design control affecting these parts.
The identified items have been identified as sole source, however some
items may have history showing awards to other than the original
equipment manufacturer (OEM). Interested parties may identify their
interest and capability to support the objectives by responding to this
notice. This requirement will be evaluated individually for award either
through Price Pending or Rapid Delivery Release (RDR) procedures. The
proposed sole source solicitation will be issued via a letter solicitation
format. Any non-OEM source that is interested in supplying any of the
attached NSN’s should notify Mr. James K. Simms at
[email protected], prior to the synopsis closing date. Alternate offers
must submit a complete technical data package, along with a Source
Approval Request (SAR). Responses to this announcement from other than
the OEM should identify items of interest and include evidence
of ability to supply the items identified. A determination by the Government
not to compete the proposed items based upon responses to this notice is
solely within the discretion of the Government. A copy of the letter of
interest should be forwarded to the Contracting Officer identified herein and
the Small Business Administration (SBA) Procurement Center
Representative (PCR) at [email protected].


SUBMISSION OF INFORMATION: Responses to this synopsis must be
readable by Microsoft Office or Adobe software.
Response to this announcement shall be unclassified and not exceed 20
pages in length. Please note that emails containing file types such as .zip,
