Addicks and Barker Project Office Building Construction in Houston, Harris County, Texas is hereby amended to incorporate the following:

Description:

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office requires construction of a single story 7,592 square feet Addicks & Barker Project Office and additional compound features.  Project Office building will double as an EOC Coop site.  Compound can include, but is not limited to, a maintenance shop (2125 square feet), a gravel parking pad/laydown area, a gravel road to Noble Road, parking lot, and location of the new portable Hazardous Material  building. Work includes site construction, plumbing, electrical, masonry, HVAC, and additional work related to vertical construction.  Completion time is 365 days.

If the contractor fails to complete the work within the time specified, the contractor shall pay liquidated damages to the Government in the amount of $3,993.00 for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted.

The contractor will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (5) calendar days after award.  The contractor shall begin work within (10) calendar days after the contractor receives the Notice to Proceed.

The Solicitation issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000.00 and

$10,000,000.00.

The solicitation is advertised as (8) a Set- Aside Competitive per (FAR 19.8)  The

North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 236210. The Small

Business Size Standard is $16.5 Million (Construction).

The solicitation will be issued on or about 3 June 2020. Response date is 6 July 2020 @ 2:00 PM
