The Medford School District 549C (District) is seeking written proposals from qualified contractors to provide all labor, materials and equipment required for updating/replacing remaining pneumatic actuators and controls to dual duct boxes with digital components. All hot/cold dampers will be separated to control hot and cold decks independently instead of in tandem, duct pressure sensors will be added to monitor air flow and VFDs will be added to RTU supply fan motors to better control air delivery and promote energy conservation at McLoughlin and Hedrick Middle Schools (320 W. 2nd St., Medford, OR 97501 - 1501 E Jackson St, Medford, OR 97504). This project will update/replace the existing actuators and controls at the sites and improve the consistency of temperatures. We are asking for your proposal/solution to this project. There will be an optional pre-proposal meeting on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. starting with McLoughlin Middle School. Please see RFP for more details. This is a qualified bid process so while overall costs are a major factor, contractors who can provide the most experience and scope of services requested, will receive higher marks. The District invites interested contractors to complete and submit a proposal. RFP may be picked up by the following methods: By calling: 541-842-3068 By downloading from the following web site: http://www.medford.k12.or.us/Domain/83 By emailing: [email protected] Trailer Comments The district reserves the right to (1) reject any Proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, (2) to add to the price bid by nonresident bidders an increase equal to the percent preference that the nonresident bidders home state would give it's instate bidders and (3) to reject for good cause any or all Bids that are not in the best interest of the district (4) to reject any or all proposals, in whole or in part, to waive any formalities and to delete items prior to making the award, whenever it is deemed in the sole opinion of Medford School District to be in its best interest.
