1. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for (1). AD/DC Three Channel Gauss-meter, Quantity: 1 EA. (2) 15ft 3-Axis Probe with Temperature Comp, Quantity: 1 EA. The simplified and commercial acquisition procedures set forth in FAR parts 13 and 12 shall be used. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is unrestricted with regard to business size. The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code is 334419, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-08-0295. Delivery at Bureau of Engraving & Printing, D Street Between 13TH & 14th Street S W, Washington D C 20228. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. The basis for award shall be based on suppliers meeting the requirements and price. All interested firms are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, and point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, and DUNS numbers, size status (that is, small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business).
