The United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), Technology Applications Contracting Office (TAKO) intends to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm Fixed Price contract to teardown, repair, and modify Air Data Computer (ADC) software and firmware. The contractor shall have the capability to modify and certify the embedded ADC software, update existing ADC's to the most current software and hardware standards, and convert serviceable D516100-0406 ADC's to D516100-4160 ADC's. The intended source for this procurement is Penny and Giles Aerospace Ltd., 1 Airfield Road, Christchurch, Dorset, BH23 3TH, United Kingdom. The IDIQ will consist of one (1) five-year ordering period. The associated NAICS code is 334511.

The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of the FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all capabilities statements or proposals received within the closing date set in this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
