The U.S. Air Forces Africa intends to award a sole source contract for adaptive eyewear currently being provided under purchase order FA5587-07-P-0202.  This contract will be for five years (base year plus four option years).  The award will be to Adaptive Eyecare Ltd, Wolfson College Annexe, Linton Road, Oxford OX1 6UD.  Supplies under this contract consist of infinitely prescribable eye glasses for the Humanitarian Civic Assistance program in Africa.  Statutory authority for this sole source is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302.1.  This notice is for informational purposes only.  No fomal solicitation will result from this announcement.  Please direct all questions to Joy Blair, 011-49-6371-47-9056.
