Request for Information (RFI) for ACR PLB-300 Battery Replacement Kits.

THIS IS A RFI ONLY. This Sources Sought (SS)/Request for Information (RFI) is being posted to satisfy the requirement of DFARS PGI 206.302-1.

The Product Manager Air Warrior (PM AW) is seeking to identify interested contractors capable of providing ACR-300 Battery Replacement Kits for Air Warrior fielded assets. The Kits for the ACR PLB-300s, consisting of two (2) 9-Volt Lithium Batteries with Connectors that will interface with the ACR-300s, a customized O-ring and 6 screws with rubber washer seals.

Background: Since 2007, PM AW has procured and fielded over 55,000 ACR PLB-300s to deployed Soldiers at high risk of becoming isolated. The PLB-300s have embedded batteries that have a five (5) year operational life. Installation of the new batteries involves software programming and pressure testing, and resets the operational life of the PLB-300 back to five (5) years.

ACR Electronics, Inc. is the current sole source for the PLB-300 Battery Replacement Kits.

Telephone inquiries will not be accepted or acknowledged, and no feedback or evaluations will be provided to companies regarding their submissions.

Submissions can be through electronic mail. Responses should be no more than ten pages and include, at a minimum:

• Name and address of the interested company or organization;
• Contact information for the primary POC;
• A brief description of the potential offeror's company/organization;
• A description of the potential offeror's capabilities and products;
