This procurement is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The office of NOAA, Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) requires 2 each, long ranger 75kHz acoustic doppler current profiler, 2000m, PS, 256MB memory. Aluminum construction, 4 beams at 20o from vertical in a convex configuration, temperature sensor,
Aluminum material, 1500m rated, end cap with wet-pluggable connector and dummy plug, 5m communications/power cable, chassis, electronics boards, flux-gate compass, pitch and roll sensors, pressure sensor, 256 MB PC card internal memory and four 28-D cell alkaline battery packs (factory degaussed), a comprehensive, easy-to-use, Windows-based software package consisting of the following modules; (1) planning/consequences, (2) deployment/initialization, (3) data recovery, (4) memory erase, (5) data playback, (6) data listing, and (7) auto testing and field compass calibration, 110 220VAC/48VDC power converter, maintenance/tool kit, user guide, operation manual.
