The information provided in response to this notice will assist the Government in determining the extent of businesses capable of providing the service listed. The intent of the announcement is to identify all small business sources that are qualified of furnishing the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC), Milford Laboratory, Milford, CT.
The Government requires the annual maintenance of NOAA owned cytometer. The equipment is a BD Biosciences Accrui C6 flow cytometer. The maintenance service shall include a 1 year maintenance kit (PN 653149) and a temporary replacement cytometer of the same make and model should the NOAA owned equipment require service.
The Government is interested in all small businesses including 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB), Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) and Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) that are interested in supplying this requirement. All interested parties shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities indicating examples of commercial sales and product specifications related to this effort. Specifically submit a brief description of company's business size (i.e. annual revenues and employee size), business status (i.e., 8(a), Historically Underutilized Business Zone, or SDVOSB, WOSB, EDWOSB, or small business) and a description of similar items offered to the Government and to commercial customers. Also indicate if you are the manufacturer, or provide the name and size of the manufacturer of the product(s) in question. The Government will use this information in determining its small business set-aside decision. The NAICS code identified is 334516 and the size standard is 500 employees.
