The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate a one-time sole source, fixed price contract in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1), with AccessData Digital Forensics. The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with AccessData to support the Criminal Investigative Division (CID) with AccessData Forensics Tool Kit (FTK) Training to take place during the 2014 Annual Electronic Crimes Special Agent Program In-Service Program training in Austin, TX for 140 Students. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No formal solicitation package is available. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in responding to this notice. This notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fedbizopps.gov). Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.Â
