The Army Contracting Command, Tenant Contracting Division, Aberdeen Proving Ground intends to issue a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Meggitt (Orange County), Inc. 14600 Myford Road Irving, CA 92606-1005. NAICS Code is 334519 and Business Size Standard is 500. The contractor shall provide the following:

7270A-20K MEMS Accelerometer - 17 each
3022B-30 Cable Assembly - 18 each
2981-12 Mounting Stud - 18 each

Accelerometers and accelerometer accessories are used by the U.S. Army Test Center (ATC). Items need to be replace due to being destroyed in testing. Failure to receive these items in a timely manner will result in a delay in live-fire survivability testing. Please see the attachment labeled "J&A Meggit (Orange County) for further details as to why this action is being negotiated solely with Meggit (Orange County) Cage Code: 95411.

There are no solicitation documents; however, contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government's requirement. Vendors who are not registered in For Award Management (SAM) database prior to award will not be considered. Vendors may register with SAM by going on via the web to https://www.sam.gov. Responses must be received no later than 10:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time, January 17, 2017. Responses should be submitted electronically to [email protected].

This notices of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, the Government will consider all responses received by the response date stated above. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
