Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility intends to award a contract to Johnson Controls Inc., the original equipment manufacturer, to perform troubleshooting and potiential repair for R-114 AC plant. JCI owns the proprietary drawings required to service the equipment. JCI does not release the drawings or other proprietary knowledge to third-party companies, and there are no authorized dealers or distributors for the unique supplies and services required.
