The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency intends to modify an existing contract that was awarded on a sole source basis to the Physical Science Laboratory (PSL) at New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, New Mexico, to add an additional year with the possibility of another additional option year for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for three of NGA's A35M Geodetic Astrolabes. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one sole source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and the Title 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Any responsible source may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation. The North American Industry Classification System code is 611310, Colleges, Universities, and Professional Schools.
