INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 6), on behalf of the Durham VA Medical Center, intends to enter into a sole source procurement with Duke University, Durham North Carolina 27710. The purchase is for use of the Duke University breeding colony on Duke MSRBII for housing of mice. The mice are to be used in a research trial with a controlled pathogen-free environment and other strict parameters. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 541712, Size Standard: 1000 Employees, and the Classification code is AN91. The proposed contract action is for service for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This notice of Intent is not a request for quotations.
