Synopsis exception FAR 5.202(a)(13) applies and Request for Quote Number N00164-08-T-0220 http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm is hereby issued as an attachment hereto. This requirement is for a High Resolution Compact Computed Tomography System and associated preventive maintenance agreement. Anticipated delivery will be FOB Destination, NSWC Crane Division, Crane, IN 47522. Inspection and acceptance with be at destination. This solicitation is being issued on a sole-source basis to YXLON INTERNATIONAL, 3400 Gilchrist Rd. Akron, Ohio 44260-1221 because YXLON is the only one known source for items that can satisfy the Government's requirements, and it is likely that award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will! be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO.
