The Navy has entered into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with BAE Systems, Nashua, NH. The scope of this effort is to procure, via individual job orders, advanced infrared countermeasure (IRCM) capability and unique modeling and simulation to existing fleet aircraft utilizing the AN/ALE-39 Countermeasures Dispenser System. Tasks will involve direct support of the countermeasures and will include modifications made to existing systems. Due to the unique capabilities and proprietary rights the orders will be issued on an Other than full and Open Competition basis per FAR 6.302-1. The period for the BOA is expected to be three years from the award date, which was 15 February 00. Periodic review and synopsis of the BOA will be performed at this activity. Individual orders will specify required tasks and all applicable delivery terms and conditions. Over the next six months, i t is expected that Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) simulations and analysis, and test support of Advanced Concept Demonstrations for the Navy’s Electronic Warfare Advanced Technology (EWAT) Program will be procured.
