The future of nuclear medicine depends on long term, uninterrupted availability of research isotopes on a routine and continuous basis at a reasonable cost. The National Cancer Institute (NCI) on behalf of the National Institutes of Health is conducting a market survey to identify potential sources of supply for research isotopes or radionuclides. Possible sources of supply include national laboratories, commercial sources, foreign sources and university sources.
