DESCRIPTION: The North Florida/South Georgia (NF/SG) Veterans Healthcare System, Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center, 1601 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608 intends to award on a Sole Source basis; a contract for preparing and injecting antigens into rabbits. The proposed source is Pocono Rabbit Farm & Laboratory Inc., 306 Dutch Hill Rd, Canadensis, PA 18325 will continue to provide polyclonal antibody production and maintenance service, including maintaining, breeding and purifying antibodies from four rabbits that are currently producing customized polyclonal antibodies for the Department of Veterans Affairs project. Terms: The projected performance period is a Base Year Contract with two annual options. Skill Set: Pocono Rabbit Farm & Laboratory provide custom-antigen injection regiment required for this project. They also already have rabbits producing customized polyclonal antibodies against Tau and P-Tau and neurogranin proteins relevant to this project.
