NASA/GSFC has a requirement for six XMC/PMC modules; each must have 2 channel 160Msps 16bit ADC, a Virtex 5 FPGA - SX95T connected directly to the ADC, 16MB ZBT Ram;PCI-X (64-bit, 133MHz), and an XMC connector with 8-lanes of PCI Express; 8 pins of frontpanel user I/O directly connected to FPGA; 8 pins of XMC connector user I/O directlyconnected to FPGA. A Development Kit including peripheral component wrappers for XMC/PMC-E2201 FPGA. Includes 8 hours of Signature Support. Annual Maintenance DSW-E2201-100-CD,Embedded Microsoft Windows XP Driver for the XMC/PMC-E2201 - Development License andAnnual Maintenance DSW-E2201-004-CD. The algorithms that will be run in this task requirethe highest performance FPGA to perform the necessary processing functions in real time. NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from CURTISS WRIGHT. Pursuant to FAR 13.106 forthe acquisition of supplies or services determined to be reasonably available from onesource.The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.Interested organizations may submit their capabilities statement to perform the effortin writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time onJanuary 12, 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for thepurpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis.
