This microarray order is for gene expression analysis of samples derived from an early life stress cohort study conducted in collaboration with Emory University’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. The purpose is to use these microarrays to evaluate functional genomic responses to psychosocial stress that alter HPV axis function. This gene expression profiling study is important to the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS) Research Program because HPA axis dysfunction is implicated in causing CFS. CDC believes that this requirement is met by only one provider. This procurement will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and 6.302-2.
