Please note that this is an announcement todeclare SPAWAR's role in competitive funding of meritorious research across aspectrum of disciplines. This publication constitutes a Broad AgencyAnnouncement (BAA) as contemplated in FAR 6.102(d)(2). No request forproposal (RFP), solicitation or other announcement of this opportunity will bemade. This announcement will remain open until replaced by a successor BAAfor approximately one year from the date of publication. White papers may besubmitted any time during this period. Awards may take the form of contracts,grants, cooperative agreements, or other transaction agreements, asappropriate. Offerors are encouraged, when submitting a white paper, tospecify any program office interest, if known. White paper submission is notrestricted in any way to any particular entity.
