The Air Armament Center (AAC), 46th Test Squadron intends to award a sole source contract to Dopplertech Inc., 9345 S. Frontage Rd., Yuma AZ 85365. This sole source contract will provide Missile Fly-out Data Service. This effort will provide continuous wave Doppler radar, infrared, visible and high speed video data of missiles during flight. Data collection activities include acquisition and tracking of a missile from land-based launch vehicle using a nominal trajectory file and ?well known target? with very predictable fight characteristics. Tracking must be accurate through the endgame. Raw radar data must be converted to engineering units to provide accurate missile roll rate, missile attitude and time, space, and position information (TSPI) scoring. The contractor shall provide all hardware/software suites to support data reduction. All hardware and software necessary to interface collected data with range control fiber optic networks are required to provide near real-time radar TSPI to display missile fly out in 3D. Data collection activities may be accomplished at various DoD and DoE test ranges, therefore hardware and software must be mobile. Dopplertech, Inc. is the only known commercial entity certified for operations and maintenance of Weibel Radars in North America.
