The Navy Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) Program Office (PMA-263) of the Program Executive Office for Strike Weapons and Unmanned Aviation (PEO(W)) will host a Management Industry Day on 2 April 2004 at the Southern Maryland Higher Education Center, California, MD, from 0830 to 1130. This meeting is intended to convey the BAMS UAV program's philosophy and areas of emphasis in preparation for the upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP). This will not be a technical interchange, and will focus only on programmatic issues and processes. A technical exchange may be scheduled at a later date. Attendance at this meeting will be limited to industry teams capable of managing, designing and producing the Full BAMS air system (air vehicle, mission systems and ground systems). Due to limited space, the program office requests those teams limit their attendance to 4 individuals. Those industry teams interested in attending should register by emailing Ms. Jessica Blackwell at [email protected]. The email shall contain, the names of the individuals who will attend (no more than 4), including contact information for the individuals to include company affiliation, phone number and email address. For directions please refer to the PMA 263 web site at http://uav.navair.navy.mil. At the PMA 263 homepage, select “BAMS UAV” from the left hand menu, then select the “Industry Day!” button. This is not a request for proposal. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for any information solicited or provided. Further, the Navy will not pay for travel costs incurred.
