The US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Acquisition Center-Washington on the behalf of the HD, Countermine Division, CERDCE, Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate intents to negotiate a thirty six (36) month Indefinite Delive ry/Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) contract to University of Missouri (Curators of the University of Missouri, 310 Jesse Hall, Columbia, MO 65211) for work and services in support of Ground Standoff Mine Detection System (GSTAMIDS), Handheld Standoff Mine Dete ction System (HSTAMIDS), Autonomous Mine Detection System (AMDS) and Humanitarian Demining Programs. The specific contract efforts are: 1) Conduct an investigation of the signal processing and automatic target recognition features of GSTAMIDS, HSTAMIDS, AM DS Systems and other mine detection programs within Humanitarian Demining Division and provide recommendations for improvements for each subject system. 2) Coordinate work with other separate but related software investigations ongoing within the Countermi ne Division. General tasks will include but not be limited to data analysis, algorithm development, test support, program support and training.
