Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) – N00039-06-X-0001 03/21/06 - By: Shannon K Higgins The Space & Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) is interested in receiving white papers for projects that offer potential for advancement and improvement of Navy operations. Please note that this is an announcement to declare SPAWAR's role in competitive funding of meritorious research across a spectrum of disciplines. This publication constitutes a Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) as contemplated in FAR 6.102(d)(2). No request for proposal (RFP), solicitation or other announcement of this opportunity will be made. This announcement will remain open until replaced by a successor BAA for approximately one year from the date of publication. White papers may be submitted any time during this period. Awards may take the form of contracts, grants, cooperative agreements, or other transaction agreements, as appropriate. Offerors are encouraged, when submitting a white paper, to specify any program office interest, if known. White paper submission is not restricted in any way to any particular entity.
