The Division of Allergy, Immunology and Transplantation of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has a requirement to design, develop, populate, and maintain a comprehensive Immune Epitope Database containing linear and conformational antibody epitopes and T cell epitopes composed of MHC-binding peptides and ligands with a priority for epitopes associated with NIAID category A-C agents, which include potential bioterrorism pathogens, their toxins, and emerging/re-emerging infectious diseases. The Immune Epitope Database will be freely accessible to the scientific community. It is anticipated that one (1) cost-reimbursement, completion type contract will be awarded for a period of five (5) years plus 2 (two) option years, beginning approximately July 29, 2003.
