The Division of Allergy, Immunology and Transplantation of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases has a requirement to design, develop, populate, and maintain a comprehensive Immune Epitope Database containing linear and conformational antibody epitopes and T cell epitopes composed of MHC-binding peptides and ligands with a priority for epitopes associated with NIAID category A-C agents, which include potential bioterrorism pathogens, their toxins, and emerging/re-emerging infectious diseases. The Immune Epitope Database will be freely accessible to the scientific community. It is anticipated that one (1) cost-reimbursement, completion type contract will be awarded for a period of five (5) years plus 2 (two) option years, beginning approximately July 29, 2003. RFP-NIH-NIAID-DAIT-03-31 will be available electronically on or about August 19, 2002, and may be accessed through the NIAID Contract Management Branch (CMB) Home Page by using the following electronic address and instructions: NIAID/CMB Home Page (via the WWW): Use http://www.niaid.nih.gov/contract to access the NIAID/CMB Home Page. Please note that the RFP has been revised to include only the Work Statement, Deliverable and Reporting Requirements, Special Requirements, Technical Evaluation Criteria, and the Specific RFP Instructions and Provisions.
