ACTION: Sole Source Announcement CONTACT: Karen Ohlhauser The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Leetown Science Center, Kearneysville, WV intends to make award on a sole source basis, to Frank Eicherley, Bowers Beach, DE to provide the services of fishing for horseshoe crabs using dredges and research protocol. Must be able to depart from Bowers Beach, Delaware. The boat must be at least 50ft long with identical gear that we used last year (two side deployed dredges each 8 ft wide) so that we can callibrate the catches from the two years to compare relitive abundances and catch rates of adults and juveniles. Must be able to be awarded a state collecting permit and in compliance with state laws. There is no written solicitation for this requirement. It is coded "No Solicitation Number 04ER06NoSolication. This award will be made on or about March 22, 2004, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 541710.
