ACTION: Sole Source Announcement CONTACT: Karen Ohlhauser The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), Leetown Science Center, Kearneysville, WV intends to make award on a sole source basis, to Randy Lauderman, Cold Spring, New Jersey to provide the services of fishing for horseshoe crabs using dredges and research protocol. The boat's gear needs to have at least a seven foot wide dredge and could be stern deployed if it was a scallop type dredge. The boat must be at least 50ft long to accomodate the USGS crews. Must be able to be awarded a state collecting permit and in compliance with state laws. There is no written solicitation for this requirement. It is coded "No Solicitation Number 04ER07NoSolication. This award will be made on or about March 22, 2004, under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for the acquisition is 541710.
