This is not a solicitation, but a Notice of Contract Action. The United States Air Force, Air Force Materiel Command, Electronic Systems Center, Air Force Research Laboratory, Space Vehicles Directorate, Contracting Division (AFRL/VSKE) intends to exercise an upriced option on contract FA9453-04-C-0052, "Chalcogenide Random Excess Memory Prototype" with BAE Systems, 9300 Wellington Rd, Manassas VA, 20110-4122. The Chalcogenide Random Excess Memory Prototype contract is to perform tasks to achieve and overall objective of producing a chalcogenide based, radiation hardened Non-Volatile Memory in the density range of 1-4 Mbit. The authority for this action is FAR part 7.2. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. If a firm believes they are capable of fully satisfying the Government's requirements, they may identify their interest and capability within 15 calendar days of this publication to AFRL/VSKE, Attn: Mr. Frank J. The Government will review all responses, without prejudice, whether or not the Government initially determines that another firm is fully qualified to fulfill the Chalcogenide Random Excess Memory (CRAM) Program requirements.
