Sole Source Notice: This is a notice of intent to sole source. The Louis Stokes Cleveland, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 10000 Brecksville Road, Brecksville, Ohio 44141, In accordance with FAR Part 13.106(b) and 41 USC 253 (c) (1) to solicit with a single source for the Procurement of a Epley Omniax Vestibular Tester. The Department of Veterans Affairs intent is to sole source the following requirement to the Vesticon Company. The North American Industry Classification System code is 541990, $7million. The purpose of this procurement is to assist the Research Department in their research of veteran's abnormal vestibular imbalances, and if they are receiving otolithic inputs which leads to postural instability. The VA believes that this is the only company that can provide this procurement. The proprietary data belongs to the Vesticon Company. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of the publication of this notice.
