The Aeronautical Systems Center, Reconnaissance SPO is seeking to identify additional suppliers for seismic digitizers. Information is requested to understand the near-term seismic digitizer technology. Specifically, the government seeks information on digitizers currently in prototype development or that will enter production in the near future. In addition, information on the dynamic range, resolution, and self-noise of the prototype digitizer and the planned schedule for entering production is requested. The Air Force is particularly interested in measured results from an independent laboratory such as Sandia National Laboratory. Please indicate if the prototype digitizerâs performance has been measured at an independent laboratory and provide the measured results. For untested prototype digitizers, the government may sponsor testing. This is NOT an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). This is a sources sought market survey announcement and the Government will not provide reimbursement of costs associated with the documentation submitted under this request. Interested sources should provide a capabilities statement. The submitted documentation, upon delivery, becomes the property of the U.S. Government and will not be returned. One-on-one meetings may be scheduled after the Government reviews the information received in response to this announcement. No solicitation documents exist at this time.
