The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to Biomind LLC. located in Bethesda, MD. The purchase order is for the purpose of performing these deliverables: supervised categorization analysis of the prior dataset, using Support Vector Machines, Genetic Programming and exponential regression methods, to learn models that differentiate CFS subjects from non-fatigued controls based on appropriate combinations of gene expression levels and clinical/epidemiologic information. Production of a written report summarizing the results of this analysis. Application of the models learned in Task 1 and the models learned during the analysis of the prior conventional core dataset, to the new dataset. This will provide a "true-out-of-sample" test of the validity of these models. Production of a written report summarizing the results of this analysis. Supervised categorization analysis of the new dataset, using Support Vector Machines, Genetic Programming and exponential regression methods, to learn models that differentiate CFS subjects from non-fatigued controls based on appropriate combinations of gene expression levels and clinical/epidemiologic information. Production of a written report summarizing the results of this analysis.
