The National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD) is seeking small businesses who possess the ability to design, fabricate and optimize research interface components that implement signal processing algorithms to convert recordings of neural activity into audio and visual outputs that function as a communication prosthesis. Validation of these algorithms will be coordinated with researchers supported by the related NIDCD contract award titled, Brain Computer Interface for Communication: Neural Implant Signal Acquisition. This is not a Request for Proposals (RFP) and does not commit the Government to award a contract now or in the future. No RFP is available at this time.
