Fifteen days after publication of this notice, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) intends to issue a purchase order to Photonics Products, Inc. for the purpose of validating current research through testing of the performance envelope of a particular existing ultra-wideband mixed signal system. This research is in connection with and directly supports the development of a new program related to ultra-wideband mixed signal systems, as well as materials, devices, and components associated with such systems. This order shall be for an amount less than $100,000 and the research shall take place within two months after issuance of the purchase order. Photonics Products, Inc. is uniquely qualified to provide the required services due to its technical expertise and extensive past experience conducting research efforts in this specific field. This notice is not a solicitation of any kind, nor is it a request for proposal.
