The Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, CA has an immediate requirement for contractual services to perform research on the use of prediction-error methods (PEM) for parameter estimation of the aerodynamic model in the nonlinear equations of motion of parachute systems. All work will be performed at the contractor’s site. A non-competitive procurement is anticipated. Professor Rotea through Purdue University, Research Program has expertise in both theory and applicatons for nonlinear identification methods to highly nonlineary dynamical systems for flat circular parachute. Purdue University owns all proprietary rights under SPS Number 0FE63. Written RFQ will be utilized via Simplified Acquisition Procdeures. Anticipated award dates is on or before 12 Dec 02.
