US Army Contracting Command, Army Contracting Command - Warren, Warren, MI, intends to award a modification to the existing contract W56HZV-09-C-0611. This supplemental agreement will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The total estimated amount is $1,000,000. A letter RFP will be sent directly to The Boeing Company. In accordance with FAR 5.207(c)(16), a copy of the RFP can be obtained by emailing [email protected]. The planned contract action will add two options. One first will include various upgrades and fixes to all four 34-Ton Joint Recovery and Distribution Systems (JRaDS) trailers. The second option will include additional on-site testing and service support at a demonstration location. The Government intends to procure these services on an other than full and open competition basis with The Boeing Company, Mesa, Arizona under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) based on only one responsible source.
