Description: The Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia, intends to solicit on a sole source basis with the Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International Foundation, Inc. of Arlington, VA to provide SeaPerch equipment and event facilitation in support of the Navy Diversity STEM SeaPerch Outreach Program The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Price type order. This procurement is a sole source acquisition with the Association of Unmanned Vehicle Systems International Foundation, Inc, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 334511. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 25 February 2015. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
