The National Institute on Aging, IRP, intends to negotiate and award a purchase order on a noncompetitive basis with Oak Ridge Associated University (ORAU) for appointment of Dr. Junh Ha Lee as a temporary foreign worker on a H-1B VISA for a year. ORAU is an H-1B cap-exempt organization willing to appoint foreign contract workers to participate in the Intramural Research Program at the National Institutes of Health. It is the only such organization that has been so identified. Dr. Jung-Ha Lee is one of the leading scientists in comparative investigations of voltaage-dependent rearrangements of cytoplasmic domains of the L-type (cardiac) and T-type (Brain) calcium channels using FRET microscopy combined with patch clamps.The NAICS code is 541690 and the size standard is 500 employees. This acquisition is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition procedures and is exempt from the requirement of FAR Part 6, competition requirement.
