The Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Office on Violence Against Women (VAW) attends to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to the Corporate Sports Marketing Group, Inc, 400 Cleveland Street, 8th Floor, Clearwater, Florida 33755. This order is for the placement of advertisements in the Little League World Series, National and American League Championship Series, and the World Series program booklets. It is VAW's hope, that the placement of these advertisements will urge men to become involved in the effort to end violence against women. The Office on Violence Against Women was created in 1995 to provide leadership against domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Since VAW's inception, the Office has launched a multifaceted approach to implementing the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), by forging state, local and tribal partnerships among police, prosecutors, the judiciary, victim advocates, health care providers and faith leaders. Under VAWA, the Office on Violence Against Women has issued grants to help provide victims with the protection and services they need to pursue safe and healthy lives and enable communities to hold offenders accountable for their violence.
