The Department of Energy (DOE) would like to thank everyone that has submitted questions and comments regarding the Energy Savings Performance Contract (ESPC) Draft Request For Proposals (DRFP). Each question and comment is taken very seriously and will be given the appropriate amount of consideration. DOE received over 400 questions or comments regarding the DRFP and is currently in the process of developing responses for every question or suggestion that was received. Due to the large volume of questions and responses, DOE anticipates that it may take up to two weeks from now to provide the necessary responses. It is DOE’s intent to consolidate the questions, comments and associated responses into a single document that will be posted in IIPS for the public to view. After providing responses to the questions and comments, DOE will revise the DRFP. After the necessary internal approvals and HQ approvals have been completed, DOE intends to issue a “Final Request For Proposals� on the IIPS for offerors to submit proposals against. Thanks again for the well thought-out questions and constructive comments to the DRFP.
