This is a combined solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.The Arkansas Army National Guard is in need of the following Signs at their Ft.Chaffee Training Center.
SUBJECT: Detailed Specifications for Ft Chaffee Sportsman's Information Boards, DA

1. Reference attached diagrams outlining construction specs for these boards. Below are more details to assist in getting the best possible product that meets CMTC's needs.

2. WHAT:
20 each Sportsman's Information Boards that are placed at all public entrances to the Ft Chaffee Wildlife Management Area (WMA).

3. PURPOSE:
Info boards to post notices of closed ranges/areas of post so that hunters can tell where the safe areas to hunt are at any given time in the WMA.

4. SPECIFICATION DETAILS (see attached diagrams):
Boards must be weather-proof so that paper notices/information can be posted inside it & are safe from the elements
Inner bulletin board must be inch marine grade plywood so that notices may be stapled to it
Outer door of the bulletin board must be:
-Weatherproof
-Have a substantial locking (key) system of which CMTC can easily make spare keys
-43inch x 43 inch
-1/4 inch lexan (see through) & hinged to open
-Have stainless steel piano hinges
-Have a foam gasket to seals from the elements
Frame, board, supports, etc must be painted all metal surfaces painted with outdoor quality paint to stand up to the elements for a leave 5 years
Bulletin must have at least an 8 inch overhang
Bulletin boards must have solar-powered lights to illuminate the inner board and needs to have motion sensors to extend the battery time.
