The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, has a requirement for the purchase of Incandescent Lamps, Amglo Kemlite P/N AHQH5620A300WPM, NSN 6240-01-432-3996, or equivalent. The requirement will include the base year plus four one year options for renewal. The estimated annual quantity is 1000 - 4000 per year. Determination has been made to open this announcement to full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 335110, with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The lamps covered by FAA specification FAA-E-2408b (attached), are to be used for outdoor operation. All lamps shall have halogen-cycle quartz filament tubes or equivalent sealed in a PAR-56 envelope, consisting of internally coated reflector and a cover glass as outlined in the specifications. The lamps, mounted in their lamp holders, normally will be installed in the approach areas to runways extending from the landing threshold outward. Please review the attached Screening Information Request (SIR) and the referenced attachments, and respond by filling in all applicable areas of the SIR.
