Description: This is a commercial item acquisition conducted in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 14, Invitation for Bids. This announcement states the intent of the Miami VA Healthcare System to procure Radioactive Isotopes for patient testing; NAICS Code 325412, Size Standard 750 Employees. The Miami VA Healthcare System intends to award a Fixed-Price Requirements contract to a licensed pharmaceutical company. Isotopes shall be delivered upon request 7 days per week; 365 days per year; 24 hours per day as required by the Nuclear Medicine Service. The Contractor shall be required to abide by all Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Department of Transportation, FDA, OSHA, State and Federal Regulations governing the manufacture and transport of Radioactive Isotopes. The contract period will consist of a base period of one (1) year with two (2) one (1) year options to extend the term of the contract. This procurement will be issued on an unrestricted basis.
