The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Qiagen Inc., 27220 Turnberry Lane, Suite 200, Valencia, CA 91355-1005 for Qiagen's BioRobot EZ1, EZ1 DNA Investigator Card, and EZ1 DNA Investigator Kits to conduct DNA extraction functions. The Qiagen EZ1 BioRobot performs extraction on an automated basis. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. This procurement utilizes the simplified acquisition procedures under FAR subpart 13.5. The vendor must currently be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database at www.ccr.gov to receive this award.
